
The full schedule for the opening weekend (October 24-26, 2025) will be announced on October 12. Paper Photo Festival framework program:
- Two international competitions: Paper Photo Award 2025 for the best photobook published in 2024 or by June 30, 2025 (prize: PLN 10,000; approx. 2,300 euros) and Paper Photo Dummy Award 2025 for the best dummy of a book not yet published (prize: PLN 5,000; approx. 1,150 euros). The competition jury will include renowned Polish visual artists: Jakub Dziewit, Dr. Katarzyna Łata, Dr. Adam Pańczuk, Dr. Rafał Siderski, and Dr. Katarzyna Zolich. The competition will conclude with an exhibition.
- The Rules of Repetition photobooks exhibition will present photographic projects based on consistency and repetition of motifs. Curated by Jakub Dziewit, it will feature around 50 photobooks. The publications presented will include works by Bernd& Hilla Becher, Stephen Gill, Christopher Herwig, Karolina Jonderko, Rafał Milach, Marina Rosso, Indrė Šerpytytė, Łukasz Skąpski, Wojciech Wilczyk, the Zupagrafika collective, Ewa Ciechanowska, Artur Urbański, and others.
- Exhibition of Belarusian photographic publications BY BOOKS. Belarusian photographic publications from the FSh1 library, curated by Maryia Karneyenka and Yauhen Attsetski from the FSh1 collective.
- The exhibition Private Narratives, in which Polish photographers refer to the theme of a publication important to them by presenting works consisting of a triad: book – negative – idea. It is curated by Katarzyna Łata and will feature works by Wojciech Beszterda, Anna Lorenc, Jerzy Łapiński, Katarzyna Navarra, Wojciech Plewiński, and others.
- Paper Academy – an overview of student photography publications produced in art schools
- Lectures, meetings with authors, and premieres (world and Polish) of photobooks.
- Photography book fair with publishers from Poland and Europe (including Blow Up Press, Pix.House, RUST, Tamaka)
